Big Island police have charged a 40-year-old Volcano woman who was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run vehicle-bicycle crash in Hilo on Wednesday.

Big Island police have charged a 40-year-old Volcano woman who was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run vehicle-bicycle crash in Hilo on Wednesday.

Alison E. Taylor was charged at 12:05 a.m. Friday with negligent homicide, accident involving death or serious injury, failure to provide information or render aid, driving with a suspended license and inattention to driving.

Her bail was set at $8,500.

She remained at the Hilo police cellblock until her initial court appearance later Friday.
